Trying to get to Heaven alone???

Who will God put along my path today? Will I slow down enough to notice and be fully present to them, or be in a hurry to do something much less important? Today, I ask God for the grace to slow down and see who and what He would like me to see.

Will you hear the Lord today?

I was looking for the Lord: but the Lord was not in my TV, the Lord was not in my iPod, the Lord was not in my cell phone, and the Lord was not in my PC. Then I listened in the silence, and there was a whisper. The Lord was in the whisper. Will I hear Him today thru the noise and din that surrounds us all? What am I going to do about that???

1 Kings Chapter 19:11-13

Then the LORD said, "Go outside and stand on the mountain before the LORD; the LORD will be passing by." A strong and heavy wind was rending the mountains and crushing rocks before the LORD--but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake--but the LORD was not in the earthquake.  After the earthquake there was fire--but the LORD was not in the fire. After the fire there was a tiny whispering sound.
